<p>This photograph appeared in the Times Leader on July 4, 1958</p><p>The original caption read: &#8220;Wyoming Valley Hospital&#8217;s beautiful new hospitality shop is now in operation as a result of the hospital&#8217;s recently constructed central wing being opened for patients.</p><p>The hospitality shop is on the main floor and near the Dana Street entrance and is staffed by volunteers from the Senior Auxiliary, Mrs. Yetter&#8217;s Auxiliary, Valley Auxiliary, Graduate Nurses Auxiliary and Back Mountain Auxiliary.</p><p>Valley Auxiliary donated $1,000 to stock the hospital shop with merchandise</p><p>Ben Badman, hospital administrator, said each auxiliary has two representatives on the Hospitality Shop Committee. The representatives, with Mrs. Bernice Edwards, manager of the hospitality shop, are responsible for the shop&#8217;s operation.</p><p>Two or three volunteers from the five auxiliaries staff the shop each day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The shop&#8217;s hours will be extended to encompass night visiting hours in the near future.</p><p>Shown seated at the table are left to right: Dr. W.E.
