Average gas prices climb by a few cents overnight

Scattered areas of traffic congestion should do little to slow the morning commute

<p>Sunny skies are warm temperatures are expected this weekend, but the Wyoming Valley could see some rain as the weekend comes to an end.</p><p>The National Weather Service indicated that it was 48 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, with overcast skies reported.</p><p>Cloudy skies will gradually become mostly sunny today, with a high near 54. Clear skies will follow into tonight, with a low near 32.</p><p>Sunny skies are predicted for Saturday, with a high near 61. Mostly cloudy skies are expected into Saturday night, with a low around 41.</p><p>Cloudy skies will round out the weekend on Sunday, along with a 30 percent chance of showers after 1 p.m. and a high near 58.</p><p>Rain will be likely on Sunday night, but no precipitation amounts have been predicted.
