<p>WEST HAZLETON &#8212; Police responding to an incident at a Cranberry Avenue residence around 6:30 p.m. Friday found a man had struck another man with a hammer following an argument about owed rent.</p><p>Dewins de Jesus-Cruz, 48, was taken into custody and faces related charges.</p><p>Officers also discovered de Jesus-Cruz, Hazleton, had an outstanding warrant stemming from possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance charges from Sugarloaf Township police, who assisted during the incident. He was transported to the Luzerne County Correctional Facility.</p><style>
