WILKES-BARRE - The United Way is now accepting applications for the &#8220;Rose Brader Community Service Award&#8221; in honor of the late Rosalie Brader, a 31-year United Way employee who devoted extensive volunteer time and talent at numerous health and human service organizations throughout the Wyoming Valley.This award has been presented to over 30 individuals who have been recognized for their extraordinary commitment to help others. The nominees must be an adult volunteer over the age of 18 who has voluntarily worked within the Wyoming Valley to benefit an individual, group, or special cause within at least the last ten years.This award will be presented by the United Way of Wyoming Valley on Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at our Day of Caring breakfast and annual awards event.
