<p><strong>James Siberski, M.S., C.M.C., CRmT,</strong> assistant professor of gerontology and director of the geriatric care management graduate certificate program at Misericordia University, is making the presentation &#8220;Ask Not What Your Brain Can Do For You, Ask What You Can Do For Your Brain&#8217;&#8217; at the Northeastern Pennsylvania Aging Network Alliance&#8217;s 2016 Social Work Appreciation Luncheon on Thursday, March 31, at Arcaro &amp; Genell, Old Forge.</p><p>In Siberski&#8217;s presentation, he will address the diagnostic and statistical manual of mental disorders, 5th edition (DSM-5) and various neurocognitive disorders. He will cover cognitive rehabilitation, neuroplasticity, neurogenesis and synaptogenesis as it relates to life and brain spans and neurocognitive and impulsive disorders and how they relate to gambling addiction.</p><p>Siberski also will discuss medications that assist in slowing cognitive disorders, cause pathological gambling and impulsive disorders.</p><style>
