Wilkes-Barre Academy announces second quarter High Honors and Honors - 2015/2016

<p>NANTICOKE &#8212; Police have charged Jordan El, 19, with drug charges after a drug raid that occurred on Friday.</p><p>At 11:40 a.m., narcotics units from Nanticoke and Hanover Township, along with the Luzerne County Drug Task Force and the State Attorney General&#8217;s BNI Division, executed a search warrant at 132 Espy Street.</p><p>As a result of the search, police found 195 bags of heroin, 4.7 grams of cocaine, 8.6 grams of marijuana and $571 in cash.</p><p>At the time of the search, police also learned that El was wanted by the Wilkes-Barre Police Department for felony counts of fleeing and eluding, driving under the influence and various other traffic violations.</p><p>Police also said that El was on bail for prior arrests in Hanover Township.</p><p>El was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Donald Whittaker on charges of possession with intent to deliver heroin, crack cocaine and marijuana.</p><p>El was jailed at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility in lieu of $250,000 bail on Nanticoke Police Department&#8217;s charges, and $100,000 on charges out of Wilkes-Barre.</p><style>
