FORT LITTLETON, Pa. (AP) — Authorities say three people are dead following what appears to have been a robbery attempt on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in south-central Pennsylvania. Officials said the shooting occurred shortly before 7:30 a.m. Sunday in the vicinity of the Fort Littleton exit of the turnpike in Fulton County. Coroner Berley Souders confirmed that three people were dead, and his office was waiting for a forensic team from state police. Officials said the shooting appeared to have occurred during a robbery attempt. State police and a turnpike spokesman said more information would be released later.
