<p>Amanda Lynn Casey and William Henry Washney Jr., together with their families, announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.</p><p>The bride-to-be is the daughter of James Qualters of Ashley. She is the granddaughter of the late James and Patricia Casey and the late John and Ann Qualters.</p><p>The prospective groom is the son of William and Patricia Washney of Wilkes-Barre. He is the grandson of Patricia Voitek and the late Robert Voitek and the late Michael and Gertrude Washney.</p><p>The bride-to-be is a graduate of Hanover Area High School. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in education from King&#8217;s College. She is employed as a special education teacher at West Scranton Intermediate School in Scranton.</p><p>The prospective groom is a graduate of James M. Coughlin High School. He earned an Associate&#8217;s degree in web development from Luzerne County Community College. He is employed as an inspector at Medico Industries in Plains.</p><p>The couple will be united in marriage June 18, 2016, at St. Ignatius Church in Kingston.</p><style>
