<p>Kelly Leighton and Timothy Smith were united in marriage on Aug. 29, 2015, at St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Church, Harrisburg, by Deacon Patrick Kiley.</p><p>The bride is the daughter of Thomas and Patricia Leighton of Wilkes-Barre. She is the granddaughter of Nancy and the late John Leighton of Wilkes-Barre and Elizabeth and the late Terrance Corrigan of Ambler.</p><p>The groom is the son of Lucille and the late Joseph Smith of Wilkes-Barre. He is the grandson of Ann Kreidler and the late Robert Kreidler, Wilkes-Barre and the late Ann and Robert Smith, Buffalo, New York.</p><p>The bride was given in marriage by her father. Her sister, Courtney Leighton, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Amy Risko and Jillian Wendolowski, friends of the bride and Molly Horowitz and Elizabeth Smith, sisters of the groom.</p><p>The groom chose his friend Joseph Van Wagner as his best man. Groomsmen were Carter Young and Ryan Lysaght, friends of the groom, Thomas Leighton, Jr., brother of the bride, and Brian Horowitz, brother-in-law of the groom.</p><p>Scriptural readings were given by Sean Hogan, friend of the couple, John Leighton, godfather of the bride, and Ann Trux, godmother of the groom.</p><p>A rehearsal dinner was held at the John Harris-Simon Cameron Mansion in Harrisburg. An evening cocktail hour and reception were held at the Historic Acres of Hershey.</p><p>The bride is a graduate of E.L. Meyers High School, Susquehanna University and Penn State University. She is employed as the multimedia content manager by the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors&#174; and is the running columnist for PennLive.</p><p>The groom is a graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School, University of Scranton and Penn State Dickinson School of Law. He is a supervising attorney at the Penn State Dickinson School of Law Children and Community Law Clinics.</p><p>The couple resides in Harrisburg with their dog, Miles.</p><style>
