HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) — A central Pennsylvania man who was 17 at the time of a 2013 murder has been sentenced to life in prison. PennLive.com (http://bit.ly/25jmJZo ) reports that 19-year-old Zhaire Dekeyser was sentenced Tuesday in Dauphin County in the December 2013 death of 32-year-old Dailyl Jones in Harrisburg. Dekeyser was convicted of first-degree murder in January in the slaying, which authorities said occurred during a robbery attempt. Defense attorney William Shreve sought mercy, saying his client's life took a downward turn when his mother died of cancer several years ago. Dekeyser, who is expected to appeal, said he was convicted "of something I didn't do." He said he is sorry for the family's loss and "I'm going to keep them in my prayers."
