Average gas prices rose slightly overnight

<p>Temperatures are expected to climb close to 70 degrees in the next few days, but rain is also expected as the Wyoming Valley approaches the weekend.</p><p>The National Weather Service indicated that it was 47 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, with fair skies reported.</p><p>Mostly cloudy skies are expected today, with a high near 61. Mostly cloudy skies will follow into tonight, with a low around 44.</p><p>Mostly sunny skies are predicted for Thursday, with a high near 68.</p><p>Showers will become likely after 2 a.m. on Thursday night, with up to a half an inch of rain possible. The low will be around 50.</p><p>Showers are expected to round out the week on Friday, but no rainfall amounts have been predicted.
