Average gas prices continue their ascent

<p>The Wyoming Valley could see some rain into tonight and Friday, but sunny skies and warm temperatures are expected this weekend.</p><p>The National Weather Service indicated that it was 44 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, with overcast skies reported.</p><p>Partly sunny skies are expected today, with a high near 65.</p><p>Mostly cloudy skies are predicted for tonight, with showers likely after 2 a.m. Up to a quarter of an inch of rainfall is possible, and tonight&#8217;s low will be around 54.</p><p>Showers are expected to be likely before noon on Friday, with another quarter of an inch of rainfall possible. The high will be near 64.</p><p>Partly cloudy skies are predicted for Friday night, with a low around 31.</p><p>Sunny skies are predicted for Saturday, with a high near 55. Mostly clear skies are expected into Saturday night, with a low around 35.</p><p>Mostly sunny skies will round out the weekend on Sunday, with a high near 61.
