Penn Stater to court on refiled ethnic intimidation charge

ALLENTOWN, Pa. (AP) — Police were looking for whoever fatally shot a man near an eastern Pennsylvania playground, scattering children who weren't otherwise harmed. The Lehigh County coroner says the victim of Wednesday's shooting is a 39-year-old Allentown man whose name won't be released until an autopsy Thursday and his family is notified. Allentown police responded and found the man dead shortly after 4:30 p.m. Another man, who is 23 years old, was wounded in his leg and upper back. Police Chief Keith Morris says police are also investigating a report that a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle about the time of the shooting, but police wouldn't immediately confirm the two incidents were related. Police continued investigating Thursday.
