<p>Mr. and Mrs. Gary Guesto of Wilkes-Barre announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Katie Lynn Guesto, to James Colter McElree, son of Mr. and Mrs. James McElree of Annapolis, Maryland and Mrs. Valerie Wilson and Mr. Thomas Surgalski of Zelienople, Pa.</p><p>The bride-to-be is a 2005 graduate of E.L. Meyers High School and a 2009 graduate of Syracuse University, New York, where she earned her bachelor&#8217;s degree in elementary and special education. She will be graduating in May with her master&#8217;s degree from Endicott College, Massachusetts and is currently employed by Charles County Public Schools, Maryland.</p><p>The prospective groom is a 2002 graduate of Seneca Valley High School in Harmony and 2006 graduate of Westminister College earning his bachelor&#8217;s degree in public relations. He is employed by Renewal By Andersen as a sales consultant.</p><p>The couple will exchange vows on Oct. 22, 2016 in Stevensville, Maryland.</p><style>
