<p>Mr. and Mrs. Don Houseknecht, Plains, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Jill A. Houseknecht, to Patrick J. McGlynn Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick J. McGlynn Sr., Plains.</p><p>The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Aldona DeMichele, Wilkes-Barre and the late Edward DeMichele, as well as the late Romaine and Don Houseknecht.</p><p>She is a 2004 graduate of Bishop Hoban High School and a 2008 graduate of King&#8217;s College where she earned a bachelor&#8217;s degree in mass communications. She is currently employed as the vice president of marketing and operations at Cross Valley Federal Credit Union.</p><p>The prospective groom is the grandson of Ann Marie Horn, Wilkes-Barre and the late George N. Horn, as well as the late Marion and James McGlynn.</p><p>He is a 2004 graduate of Bishop Hoban High School and a 2008 graduate of King&#8217;s College where he earned a bachelor&#8217;s degree in mass communications. He is currently employed as a NYC sales manager for Mountain Productions.</p><p>The couple will exchange vows Sept. 24, 2016, in St. Nicholas Church, Wilkes-Barre.</p><style>
