Local, state average gas prices climbed overnight

<p>Clear skies are expected over the next few days in the Wyoming Valley, but rain is possible as the week comes to an end.</p><p>The National Weather Service indicated that it was 37 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, with fair skies reported.</p><p>Sunny skies are expected today, with a high near 47. Clear skies will follow into tonight, with a low around 27.</p><p>Sunny skies are once again predicted for Wednesday, with a high near 59. Partly cloudy skies will follow into Wednesday night, with a low around 42.</p><p>Showers will be likely on Thursday, but no precipitation amounts have been predicted.
