<p>St. Andre Bessette Parish, Wilkes-Barre will sponsor a Night at the Races on Saturday, April 9, at St. Mary&#8217;s Byzantine Social Hall, 522 Madison St., Wilkes-Barre. Doors open at 6 p.m. and post time is 7 p.m. To purchase a horse call 570-823-4988. Horses must be purchased by Sunday, April 3. Admission is $5 and includes food and beverages. Tickets may be purchased at the door. Persons must be 21 years of age or older to attend. Several members of the planning committee are: Rev. Kenneth M. Seegar, pastor, seated.
