LCCC Computer Club hosts industry speaker

Rotary Club of Mountain Top hosting business mixer

<p>Students in grades five through eight at Good Shepherd Academy in Kingston participated in the Scripps Spelling Bee. Each homeroom held its own Spelling Bee and the two finalists from each room participated in the School Spelling Bee. The winner of the school competition was Peter Khoudary, seventh grade, of Dallas. The runner-up was Alexa Ullrich, seventh grade, of Kingston. Peter advanced to The Scripps Local Spelling Bee which was held at The Woodlands Inn and won first place. He will participate in the Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington, D.C. in May. Mr. James Jones is principal at Good Shepherd Academy and Mr. Stan Pavlick is vice-principal. Mrs. Denise Shevock is the Spelling Bee coordinator.
