Public safety officials to outline plans for Boston Marathon

<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; City police responded to a report of an injured woman who jumped out of a window to escape a domestic dispute around 12:24 a.m. Wednesday at the Sherman Hills complex.</p><p>According to the police report, when officers arrived at the scene they found a 38-year-old female with a broken leg. The female told police that she jumped from the window to escape Tyrone Scott, 37 of Edwardsville, who she said was threatening her with a machete.</p><p>Officers went to the apartment to arrest Scott and he resisted, the report stated. After a substantial struggle, police said Scott was placed in handcuffs and leg shackles.</p><p>Scott was transported to police headquarters and is awaiting arraignment on charges of aggravated assault, police said.</p><style>
