AKRON, Ohio (AP) — An analysis by an anthropology team from a Pennsylvania school has provided clues about the man whose skeletal remains were found on a northeastern Ohio sidewalk in January. The Summit County Medical Examiner's Office the team from Mercyhurst University in Erie, Pennsylvania, determined the remains belong to a white male who was likely in his late 30s to early 40s. The team believes the man likely stood around 6-foot-1 or 6-foot-2. The remains were found in Akron on Jan. 8. The office says authorities are submitting samples for a DNA profile. The profile will be checked against existing databases for a potential match. That process could take weeks. A spokesman says the identity could remain a mystery if there's no match.
