New spin on gauging health in NEPA: Income inequality, housing issues, access to social associations

The left loves to criticize the Koch brothers. Such criticism is absurd.The Koch brothers, Charles and David, both champion smaller government. They believe the country needs to have much lower taxes and far fewer government programs. If the Koch brothers&#8217; vision prevails, everyone, including the poor, will pay less in taxes. The Kochs are also vigorously opposed to crony capitalism.The Koch brothers are model citizens who have made large donations to many charitable causes. Koch Industries recently gave a large sum of money to the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. This will help ensure that low-income defendants are guaranteed the right of counsel. Last year, Koch Industries gave a $25 million grant to the United Negro College Fund. Charles Koch is very generous toward higher education; his foundation gives out grants to about 250 colleges and universities across the country. Charles and David Koch are very wealthy, but they have put their money to good use. Rather than collect mansions and yachts, they have used their wealth to support worthy causes. Charles and David Koch are excellent role models for all Americans.Willie SpeareScranton
