Attorney Steven P. Roth to receive the Bill McNally Mentor of the Year Award

Bear Creek Community Charter School announced the promotion of Jennifer Smith to the position of Instructional Technology Coordinator/Math Specialist. Smith will assume her new role at the beginning of the 2016-2017 school year.In her new role, Smith will implement a technology course for students in fourth, fifth and sixth grades, coordinating new educational technology initiatives with students and staff, and will be the &#8220;Math Champion&#8221; across grade levels.Smith is completing her 11th year of service to the students of Bear Creek Community Charter School. She has more than 16 years teaching experience, along with almost five years of corporate training experience in educational software.She holds a Master of Science Degree in Education from Wilkes University, specializing in classroom technology and is certified in both Elementary Education and Mid-Level Mathematics.
