WARREN, Pa. (AP) — Some 911 dispatchers in northwestern Pennsylvania found out what it's like to be on the other end of the line. The (Warren) Times Observer (http://bit.ly/1oTRAKB ) says fire crews were called to the Warren County 911 Communications Center when a burning furnace motor tripped a fire alarm about 1 p.m. Monday. Crews got the smoke to dissipate and the 911 dispatchers didn't have to stop taking calls. Warren County officials say they can ask dispatchers in neighboring Elk County to take their calls in an emergency, but that proved to not be necessary.
