Transylvania comes to Wilkes-Barre, as Little Theatre presents ‘Young Frankenstein’

The Mill Memorial Library, 495 E. Main St, Nanticoke, will hold a hands-on Earth Day event for children at 1 p.m. Saturday. There will be arts and crafts, story time, seed planting and a worm bin.The City of Nanticoke, GNA Community Garden, The Nanticoke Conservation Club, Newport Township Community Organization and EPCAMR will participate in Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful and The Great American Clean Up of Pennsylvania. To participate assemble at 8 a.m. Saturday, April 23, at the Broadway Street parking lot of LCCC in Nanticoke, across from the Weis Market. Cleaning supplies and refreshments will be supplied.Instruction on making seed bombs will be at 1 p.m. which will be distributed at 10 a.m. Sunday, April 24. Anyone wishing to join can bring their bike and help to spread the seed bombs or spread seeds at the community garden site.
