<p>Skip and Donna Shook of Hanover Township announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Lyndsay Nicole to Brian Christopher Lavan, son of Brian and Sharon Lavan, Wilkes-Barre.</p><p>The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Delores Aruscavage and the late Francis Aruscavage and the late Gilbert and Frances Shook.</p><p>The prospective groom is the grandson of Madeline Lavan and the late William Lavan, Sr. and Raymond and Mary Ellen Cronauer and the late Raymond Woods.</p><p>The bride-to-be is a 2006 graduate of Hanover Area High School. She is a 2010 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Medicine and a 2014 graduate of Wilkes University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She is employed as a registered nurse in labor and delivery at Moses Taylor Hospital, Scranton.</p><p>The prospective groom is a 2007 graduate of E.L. Meyers High School. He is currently employed at WVSA in operations.</p><p>The couple will be united in marriage July 9, 2016 at St. Andrews Church, Wilkes-Barre.</p><style>
