Poll Close: 8 p.m. First Results Expected: 8:15 p.m. __ DELEGATE ALLOCATION During testing and election night, AP will allocate presidential delegates, except during the day of the final test. Allocation may not reach 100 percent of available delegates during testing or on election night. The Pennsylvania Democrats have 189 pledged delegates, allocated by district and statewide vote per standard. On election night, AP will gather precinct-level results as counties reach 100% of precincts reporting in order to calculate votes for the Democratic presidential candidates broken down by U.S. Congressional District. The AP will then use those district breakdowns to calculate delegate allocation.  It is possible that not all district breakdowns will be complete on election night but the AP will continue to calculate them until it ends tabulation. (4/15/2016) Pennsylvania Republicans have 17 pledged at-large delegates allocated winner-take-all based on the statewide presidential vote, and 54 delegates directly elected on the primary ballot that can vote for whichever presidential candidate they choose on the convention ballot. The 54 elected delegates are not identified on the primary ballot by a candidate affiliation. AP will not be tabulating the district delegate results(4/20/2016) ANOMALIES Votes for the Judicial Retirement Age ballot issue will not be tabulated or reported. Voting on the issue has been ordered delayed until November. In the GOP primary, these candidates suspended their campaigns after the withdrawal deadline but will remain on the ballot and in unofficial election night results: Jeb Bush, Ben Carson, Marco Rubio. Kevin Boyle is running for two offices in this election: State Senate District 5 and State House District 172. U.S. Senate candidate Joseph Vodvarka has been ordered back on the ballot. Some counties had already printed ballots without his name and thus will be issuing paper ballots for this one race. Some counties will not be tabulating those results until the day after the election. Expect incomplete and delayed results for this one contest.
