Don&#8217;t think your voice matters? It does, and your voice is heard the most when you vote.Not happy with budget impasses? Raise your voice and vote. Not happy with your taxes going up but wages going down? Vote. Want to stand up to those who speak division and hate? Vote.Women stood up, raised their voices and marched to vote. African-Americans lost their lives and marched for the right to vote. People risked their lives to get into this country so they could become citizens and vote. Across the globe there are those who go to bed at night wishing that they could vote but who live under dictatorships and can&#8217;t vote.My grandfather fought in the Pacific so that you could vote. Brave men and women lost their lives on battlefields across this globe for your right to vote. From the beaches of the Pacific to the battlefields of Europe, from the cold of Korea and the hellish jungles of Vietnam, to the desert of Iraq and the mountains of Afghanistan, blood was shed and lives were lost so you can vote.Elections have consequences &#8211; just look at the headlines in papers all over this country to see what happens when you vote for the wrong people. Elections could be decided by as little as 300 votes. On Tuesday in the great state of Pennsylvania, Democrats and Republicans, get out and vote. Your voice matters; raise it.Adam G.
