Back Mountain Little League to host Little League Softball East Regional Championships in August

<p>DALLAS TWP. &#8212; The 2016 Dallas High School (DHS) Lock-In Committee invites high school students, teachers, administrators, police, fire, EMA/EMS departments on the high school ball field to compete in the first-ever DHS Lock-In Wiffle Ball Classic from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, May 1 (rain date is May 15).</p><p>Spectators are welcome. There will be door prizes and food will be available for purchase during the event. Bring blankets and/or chairs and enjoy the tournament games.</p><p>The fundraiser, which was proposed by Dallas Township Police Chief Robert Jolley in support of the graduation night celebration, will take place on the high school ball field, located between the Dallas High School and Middle School. Champion and second place medals will be awarded, and this year&#8217;s winning team name will be the first to be engraved on a community plaque.</p><p>The annual DHS Lock-In is a drug, alcohol and tobacco-free graduation night party that treats the new grads to a special last night of fun and games with their fellow classmates before continuing on with the next chapter of their lives.
