Riders donate to Hunts for Healing

<p>The Wyoming Valley Chapter of the NSDAR has chosen the high school seniors for the DAR Good Citizens Award and Scholarship Contest. Students from nine local high schools were selected for their essays and were honored at an event held at Wyoming Seminary&#8217;s Stettler Learning Resources Center. The Honorable Richard M. Hughes III, president judge of Luzerne County, was the featured speaker. Awarded, from left, are: First Place: Abby Muth, Holy Redeemer; Third place: Abbey Murphy, Crestwood; Renee Saraka, Hanover Area; Judge Hughes, Ragan Blidner, chapter regent; Jessica Valencia, G.A.R.; Christopher Biesecker, Dallas; Madison Stambaugh, Lake-Lehman, and Zeke Berger, Wyoming Valley West. Unable to attend were Second Place: Anna Thomas, Wyoming Area and Timothy Snyder, Meyers.</p><style>
