Sammy and Suzie are at Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge awaiting a fur-ever home

<p>DALLAS &#8212; Active Adult Centers sponsored by the Area Agency on Aging for Luzerne and Wyoming Counties offer hot noon meals Monday through Friday to people 60 years of age or older. A $2 meal donation is gratefully accepted. The monies are needed in order to expand this program.</p><p>The following is the menu for the week of May 9:</p><p><strong>MONDAY: </strong>Open face hot pork on whole wheat bread, garden vegetable soup, mashed potatoes, crackers, Rice Krispie treat, milk and coffee.</p><p><strong>TUESDAY: </strong>Bag lunch.</p><p><strong>WEDNESDAY: </strong>Chicken verona, savory spinach, herbed potatoes, whole wheat dinner roll, lemon sorbet, milk and coffee.</p><p><strong>THURSDAY: </strong>Beef and broccoli, carrots and cauliflower, brown rice, scalloped pears, milk and coffee.</p><p><strong>FRIDAY: </strong>BBQ roast pork, green beans, mashed potatoes, whole wheat dinner roll, cherry gelatin, milk and coffee.</p><style>
