PITTSBURGH (AP) — The American Civil Liberties Union is claiming a Pennsylvania man was wrongly arrested and jailed nearly two years ago when he recorded a police officer who responded to a parking dispute at the man's home. The federal lawsuit was filed Tuesday on behalf of Michael Gratteri. The man lives near Ford City High School and has had frequent run-ins with teachers who park in front of his home instead of a school parking lot. When police responded to one such encounter in September 2014, Gratteri recorded it and, a couple days later, posted the video on Facebook. He was arrested about a month later and jailed for about seven hours, allegedly for violating the state's wiretap act, before the charges were withdrawn. The district attorney and Ford City officer being sued didn't immediately comment.
