MOOSIC &#8212; Chris Parmelee had a rough start to his season with the RailRiders notching just two hits in his first 26 at bats in eight games.Since that slow beginning, the first baseman has been tearing up the International League hitting .327 (18 for 55) with at least one hit in 12 of 16 games for Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.Those numbers include Saturday as his hot hitting continued at PNC Field going 3 for 5 with a walk-off home run in the bottom of the 10th leading the RailRiders to a 8-7 win over Lehigh Valley.Parmelee got behind in the count 0-2 against IronPigs pitcher Reinier Roibal, but the fourth pitch he saw was a slider that he pulled over the wall in right just clearing as the RailRiders overcame a four-run deficit to grab the win.Parmelee redeemed himself two innings prior when he hit a fly out with Rob Refsnyder on second base and no outs.&#8220;It kinda bugged me not getting the job done that inning so I was just trying to put a ball in play hard,&#8221; Parmelee said. &#8220;Maybe a double or something where somebody could get me over. I was just trying to hit the ball hard and was fortunate to get enough on it and get it out.&#8221;Conor Mullee (3-0) picked up the win tossing the final three innings not allowing any runs. He got out of a two-on, no-out jam in the ninth inning with a double play ground ball on an attempted bunt by Cam Perkins when he fell down after bunting the ball back to Mullee.&#8220;I was fielding it, and I knew maybe we had time to get three, but I didn&#8217;t know he fell over, it didn&#8217;t register in my mind. I just wanted to get the lead out,&#8221; Mullee said. &#8220;But I&#8217;ll take it.&#8221;SWB starter Brady Lail was in control until the fourth inning when he got hit in the back of the leg by a liner off the bat of Taylor Featherston that went for a single.Lail was looked at by the trainer, but stayed in the game. While he may have been fine, something appeared to be off. After getting a ground out, he allowed four straight batters to reach on two walks, an RBI single by Brock Stassi and a two-run double from Will Venable to put the IronPigs in front 4-2. After Venable&#8217;s hit, Lail was pulled from the outing.&#8220;He said it didn&#8217;t (effect him) we asked him after the game,&#8221; SWB manager Al Pedrique said about the hit Lail took to his backside. &#8220;He just worked behind in the count. And when you do that against a good hitting team, that&#8217;s what&#8217;s going to happen. You&#8217;re going to give up some hits and some runs.&#8221;The IronPigs extended their lead to 7-3 in the top of the sixth after three-run homer by Venable.
