<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; Residents along Kent Lane were awoken to shots fired early Monday morning.</p><p>Declining to be identified, residents said shots were fired at a residence in the 100 block of Kent Lane at approximately 2:22 a.m.</p><p>The residence had several visible bullet holes in windows on the second floor, as well as near the front door.</p><p>One neighbor, who also declined to be identified, said he planned to have his firearms accessible in an effort to stay vigilant. Another neighbor said a family member left to purchase a firearm as a result of the shooting.</p><p>The Times Leader is waiting to receive more details from the Wilkes-Barre Police Department.
