<p>WILKES-BARRE TWP. &#8212; Police are searching for a woman accused of stealing merchandise from Walmart.</p><p>At 9:40 p.m. on May 6, store security reported to police that the woman allegedly stole $38 in merchandise by concealing it in her purse. When she was approached by store security, the woman allegedly threw the stolen items on the ground and fled the area in a Dodge Dakota.</p><p>Police said they have obtained the registration number of the woman&#8217;s vehicle.</p><p>Anyone with information on the woman&#8217;s identity is asked to contact the Wilkes-Barre Township Police Department at crimetips@twp.wilkesbarre.pa.us, or by sending a private message to the department&#8217;s Facebook page.</p><style>
