Misericordia University expands study abroad program

WEBSTER

<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; Police took a city resident into custody Saturday for trying to drive a motorcycle while intoxicated.</p><p>George David Cashen, 48, of Wilkes-Barre, was taken into Wilkes-Barre City Police custody near the intersection of Kulp and N. Main streets at 1.07 p.m. Saturday for public drunkenness.</p><p>Cashen was observed attempting to &#8220;operate a motorcycle&#8221; while being intoxicated, according to the complaint. When police officers arrived on the scene, they noted, Cashen was &#8220;staggering on the sidewalk and nearly falling to the curb.&#8221;</p><p>The officers determined Cashen was a danger to himself and the public and charged him with public drunkenness.</p><style>
