<p>MOOSIC &#8212; Rob Refsnyder saw his International League-high 16-game hitting streak end late last week.</p><p>The RailRiders infielder and right fielder then had a day off. He started a new streak on Sunday afternoon blasting a pair of long home runs as Scranton/Wilkes-Barre defeated Indianapolis 7-1 at PNC Field to cap a three-game sweep over the Indians for the first time since 2014.</p><p>The RailRiders picked up their fourth straight victory and wrapped up a season-long, nine-game homestand with a 6-3 rec0rd. They took over sole possession of first place in the International League North Division leading Syracuse and Rochester by a half game.</p><p>Refsnyder, who hadn&#8217;t hit a homer all season, hit his first of the season in the sixth inning. The shot landed in the RailRiders bullpen and extended the lead to 5-1. His second homer of the day cleared the bullpen and landed on the bridge in left field leading off the eighth inning. The feat was Refsnyder&#8217;s first game with two homers in almost exactly a year when he went deep twice against Durham on May 17, 2015.</p><p>&#8220;It&#8217;s nice hitting the ball in the air and having it not be caught; it feels good,&#8221; Refsnyder said. &#8220;The second one I was trying to hit another homer because I felt good and I don&#8217;t have many homers.&#8221;</p><p>RailRiders starter Dietrich Enns, making his first career Triple-A start, was promoted from Trenton after a fantastic start at Double-A Trenton this season. For the Thunder, the 24-year-old was 3-2 with an ERA of 1.82 in six starts, but he tossed 24 1/3 straight scoreless innings to start the season en route to claiming the Eastern League&#8217;s Pitcher of the Month for April.</p><p>Indianapolis took a 1-0 lead in the third inning against Enns scoring an unearned run when the RailRiders committed a pair of errors in the frame, including the first of the season by right fielder Aaron Judge.</p><p>&#8220;You just try to make pitches and pick the guys up in the field. They&#8217;re obviously not trying to make errors,&#8221; said Enns, who had Tommy John surgery in 2014 and has put up impressive numbers since then allowing just 15 earned runs in just under 100 innings. &#8220;They&#8217;re going to make the next play if they don&#8217;t make one so I&#8217;m just trying to work quick and get quick outs.&#8221;</p><p>After that inning, Enns, who hadn&#8217;t pitched above Single-A before this season, didn&#8217;t allow any other runners to score and picked up four of his six strikeouts in his last two innings pitched.</p><p>&#8220;I&#8217;m just trying to keep working and keep getting better,&#8221; Enns said.</p><p>Enns&#8217; start came a day after Eric Ruth made just his fourth career appearance in Triple-A and shut down the Indians with a quality start. The two youngsters were a boost for the pitching staff, which has been unstable recently with multiple key pitchers moving around going to Double-A Trenton or in the majors with New York.</p><p>&#8220;It was nice watching Dietrich. He comes up and does a really good job,&#8221; Refsnyder said. &#8220;It&#8217;s awesome having those guys come and fill in especially when the big league level there&#8217;s a couple injuries and we have some of our best guys going up.&#8221;</p><p>The offense picked up the D later in the game. In the fourth inning, the RailRiders got on the board tying the game on a run-scoring double by Jake Cave. The next batter, Donovan Solano blasted a three-run homer for a 4-1 lead.</p><p>In the process, Solano did something he hadn&#8217;t done in a long time going deep for the first time since Aug. 30, 2014 when he played for the Miami Marlins. Express</strong></p><p>The RailRiders picked up their fourth straight win by sweeping a three-game series from Indianapolis and claiming the last game of the series on Sunday at PNC Field, 7-1.</p><p><strong>Today&#8217;s</strong> <strong>Game: </strong>The RailRiders start a seven-game road trip out west Monday when they travel to Louisville for a game at 7:05 p.m.</p><p><strong>Probable Pitchers:</strong> Scranton/Wilkes-Barre lefty Richard Bleier (1-1, 2.45) vs. Louisville RHP Daniel Wright (0-0, 3.60).</p><p><strong>On Deck: </strong>The series in Louisville continues through Thursday.
