It was in 1892, only 70 years after the invention of photography, that Graule Studios opened its doors as a commercial photo business on Hinds Street in Rochester. Since then, the business and its owners have documented nearly 125 years of Beaver County's history and the lives of its residents. The studio, which is the seventh-longest continually operated in the country, will shutter its doors this summer, and with it goes tens of thousands of pictures captured since the studio opened. BUILDING COLLAPSE — Rescue crews have freed a worker who was trapped following a floor collapse at a home in west Philadelphia. POLICE OFFICER CRASH — A Philadelphia police officer is in stable condition after her police car was hit by a bakery truck while she was responding to a call. SHOT WHILE DRIVING — A young man is in critical condition after he was shot while driving in Pittsburgh's Fairview section. DISTRICT JUDGE-THEFT CHARGES — A Pennsylvania district judge has been suspended without pay after he was charged last week with stealing more than $113,000 from his office and the volunteer fire company where he served as treasurer. INFANT TWINS-ABUSE — Pennsylvania couple has been arrested after police say the mother and father abused their infant twin daughters so badly the girls could've died.
