Jury convicts Hazleton man of crashing into home, fleeing scene

Victim wakes up after three days, says sneakers and cell phone missing

<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; A Scranton woman was charged with prostitution on Monday.</p><p>Police said they saw Caitin Mentz, 33, acting in a manner consistent with engaging others for the purpose of sex acts for money in an area known for illicit activity at about 7 p.m.</p><p>Police said then then observed a vehicle pass Mentz and return shortly thereafter and pick her up.</p><p>Police observed vehicle code violations and conducted a vehicle stop during which the officers received additional information establishing Mentz&#8217;s purpose in the area as prostitution.</p><p>Mentz was charged with prostitution.</p><style>
