United Way holds Day of Caring

<p>KINGSTON TWP. &#8212; Luzerne County Transportation Authority (LCTA) will provide bus service to Frances Slocum State Park beginning June 11, which is designated &#8220;National Get Outdoors Day.&#8221;</p><p>According to a media release, the first bus will leave the intermodal in downtown Wilkes-Barre center at 10:30 a.m. The route will include three trips per day Monday through Friday and two trips on Saturday. The route will remain in operation until Aug. 27.</p><p>Frances Slocum Park consists of 1,035 acres which include a lake for fishing and boating, a pool, hiking trails, picnic areas and camping facilities.</p><p>Additional route information may be found at www.lctabus.com.</p><style>
