<p>FORTY FORT &#8212; The Forty Fort police have arrested a 31-year-old Shavertown resident after he allegedly burglarized a home and fled.</p><p>Police said they received a call at 1:30 p.m. Friday from a resident of to the 1700 block of Wyoming Avenue, who reported when they arrived home, a male in an orange T-shirt fled from the home through the rear door.</p><p>Later officers, assisted by Swoyersville police, responded to a report of a man wearing an orange T-shirt carrying a pistol, just north of Owen Street.</p><p>According to the police report:</p><p>Officers came upon Michael Spress, of Longdale Avenue, Shavertown. They ordered Spress to drop the firearm several times before he complied. During a search, police recovered jewelry, watches and credit cards. The property in his possession belonged to the burglary victim.</p><p>Spress was identified on scene by the grandson of the home owner, who observed Spress jump a fence.</p><p>Spress was arraigned before District Judge Michael Dotzel, and his bail was set at $50,000.</p><p>A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for June 16 before District Judge David Barilla.</p><style>

Suspect arrested in Forty Fort burglary
