<p>SCRANTON &#8212; The roster of delegates for the July Democratic National Convention will be finalized this weekend when the state Democratic party meets at the Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel.</p><p>When the committee convenes at noon Saturday, members will finalize the list of 83 delegates not selected by voters in the primary. Pennsylvania is allotted 210 delegates &#8212; 127 were elected in the primary.</p><p>The delegate slots have been determined and the state committee will assign people to fill the slots.</p><p>Guest speaker at the group&#8217;s &#8220;Victory 2016 Unity Dinner&#8221; Friday evening will be Maria Elena Durazo, vice chair of the Democratic National Committee.</p><p>Durazo is widely regarded as one of the most powerful and savvy union organizers in the United States. On May 15, 2006, she was elected to serve as executive secretary/treasurer of the Los Angeles County Federation of Labor, AFLCIO, an organization that represents more than 800,000 workers through more than 300 separate unions.</p><p>Katie McGinty, Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate, will also address the group.</p><p>Grace McGregor Kramer of Lackawanna County was elected a delegate from the 17th Congressional District in the April Pennsylvania Primary and is pledged to presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.</p><p>&#8220;I&#8217;m excited about being a part of this historic election,&#8221; Kramer said. &#8220;This will be incredibly historic to see such a strong woman to be nominated as candidate for president and I am confident she will win and become our next president.&#8221;</p><p>The final group of state primaries were held Tuesday, including New Jersey and California. It&#8217;s presumed Clinton has more than the required delegates to garner a first-ballot nomination at the Democratic National Convention set for July 25-28 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.</p><p>Other states holding primaries Tuesday for both parties are Montana, New Mexico and South Dakota. Democrats also have a caucus in North Dakota Tuesday &#8212; Republicans held their state convention there in April.</p><p>Members of the state committee will attend several meetings/caucuses &#8212; called &#8220;Deminars&#8221; &#8212; Friday and Saturday.</p><p>Democratic statewide candidates Josh Shapiro (attorney general), Joe Torsella (treasurer) and Eugene DePasquale (auditor general) will all speak at the meeting.</p><p>Only Pennsylvania Democratic State Committee members may participate in the official business. All registered Democrats are invited to observe.</p><style>
