Court to hear dispute over changing judges' retirement age

<p>DURYEA &#8212; Borough police have obtained an arrest warrant for a man in connection with a report of an assault involving a handgun Tuesday night into Wednesday.</p><p>Police said officer Jason Barry and the Duryea Police Department were dispatched to the 300 block of McAlpine Street overnight for a report of the assault.</p><p>The two victims reported they were assaulted by a male known to them. They stated he struck them in the head with a handgun, police said.</p><p>Police from multiple surrounding towns assisted Duryea officers in the investigation and in searching for the suspect, who fled into the woods.</p><p>Police later obtained an arrest warrant for Scott Bolton in connection with the incident, according to a news release.</p><p>Police are asking anyone with information on the whereabouts of the suspect to call the Duryea Police Department or Luzerne County 911. Police say Bolton might be armed and advised that no one should approach him. They provided no age, address or description of the suspect.</p><style>
