<p>Mr. and Mrs. Michael P. Notaro, of McAdoo, announce the engagement of their daughter, Megan Marie, to Matthew Joseph McGowan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Matthew McGowan, Sugarloaf.</p><p>The bride to be is a 2006 graduate of Hazleton Area High School. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in medical imaging from Misericordia University, Dallas, in 2011. She is a radiologic technologist at the Veteran&#8217;s Affairs Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Notaro, of Kelayres and Mrs. Mary Louise Maylath, of Hazleton and the late Mr. Vincent Maylath.</p><p>The prospective groom is a 2004 graduate of Hazleton Area High School. He received a Bachelor&#8217;s degree in business management from Lehigh University, Bethlehem, in 2008. He is a partner of Presidential Land Holdings Inc., Mountain Top and operations manager for Hallmark Homes Inc., Mountain Top. He is the grandson of Mrs. Agnes Zdonczik, of Sugarloaf and the late Mr. Charles Zdonczik.</p><p>The couple became engaged May 1, 2015, and the wedding will take place in Bethlehem this August.</p><style>
