Rain possible in the Wyoming Valley as the week comes to a close

<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; Traffic delays are expected at the intersection of the Market Street Bridge and River Street today as crews construct crosswalks in the area.</p><p>Construction crews arrived on scene at 7 a.m. this morning, PennDOT spokesman James May said in an email. Flaggers will be in place to direct traffic.</p><p>May said the work expected to be completed sometime this afternoon.</p><p>In this morning&#8217;s <a href="https://www.timesleader.com/news/local/554148/isolated-areas-of-traffic-congestion-reported-in-the-wyoming-valley" target="_blank">traffic report</a>, isolated areas of traffic congestion were reported throughout North and South River streets.</p><style>
