National average gas dropped, local and state averages hold steady overnight

<p>Rain is in the forecast for the Wyoming Valley today and into tonight, but clear skies are expected for the weekend.</p><p>The National Weather Service indicated that it was 62 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, with light rain reported.</p><p>Mostly cloudy skies are expected today, along with a 50 percent chance of showers after 11 a.m. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is expected, and the high will be near 77.</p><p>Tonight will also bring mostly cloudy skies, along with a 30 percent chance of showers before 9 p.m. The low will be around 58.</p><p>Mostly sunny skies will round out the week Friday, along with the possibility of some isolated showers after 3 p.m. The high will be near 80.</p><p>Clear skies will follow into Friday night, and the low will be around 54.</p><p>Saturday will bring sunny skies, and the high will be near 82. Clear skies are expected into Saturday night, with a low around 56.</p><p>Sunny skies will round out the weekend Sunday, with a high near 87.
