<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; Police are at the scene of an apparent assault inside the Sherman Hills apartment complex.</p><p>Several police cruisers, EMS and a fire truck are at the scene on Empire Court. One man with blood on his clothing could be seen being loaded into a waiting ambulance on a stretcher.</p><p>Emergency broadcasts initially reported a shooting in the area, but later clarified it was a stabbing.</p><p>Luzerne County detectives also are at the scene.</p><p><strong>Check back later at timesleader.com for more information</strong></p><style>
