<p>Wyoming Valley West tight end L.J. Wesneski will return to the football field Saturday night as Pennsylvania faces Maryland in the annual Big 33 Football Classic at Hersheypark Stadium.</p><p>Kickoff is 7:06 p.m. The game will be televised locally on WQMY.</p><p>Wesneski caught 33 passes for 412 yards and six touchdowns as a senior, leading all tight ends in the Wyoming Valley Conference. As a defensive end, he had 76 tackles, 15 tackles for loss and seven sacks. He was selected to the Times Leader All-WVC team as a junior and a senior and to the Pennsylvania Sports Writers Class 4A all-state first team. He will play at the University of Albany in the fall.</p><p>Wesneski will wear No. 85 in the game.</p><p>Wallenpaupack&#8217;s Rashawn Battle is the only other player from District 2. Battle, a linebacker, will play at Rutgers.</p><p>Woodland Hills running back Mike Sanders is the lone Penn State recruit on the Pennsylvania roster. Maryland has two future Nittany Lions &#8212; receiver Dae&#8217;lun Darien and tight end Cameron Brown.</p><p>Pennsylvania defeated Maryland 20-3 last year in a game that was called before the start of the third quarter due to thunderstorms. Saturday&#8217;s game will be the fourth consecutive game between the two states. Pennsylvania played Ohio from 1993-2012.</p><p>The Big 33 game began in 1959 as a battle of Pennsylvania stars against all-stars from across the country.</p><style>
