Police search home of man accused of receiving girl as gift

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Authorities say one man is dead and another is in critical condition after a shooting in west Philadelphia. Philadelphia police say a 26-year-old man was shot in the back. He was taken to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead. A second man was shot in his left shoulder and left hip. He's in critical condition at a hospital. The shootings happened around 3 p.m. Saturday. The victims have not been identified and no arrests have been made.
