HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) — The Pennsylvania House of Representatives is back in session as the fiscal-year deadline ticks down and no budget vote is scheduled. Monday leaves 10 days until the 2016-17 fiscal year begins July 1. Negotiators are reporting no agreements on how much to spend and whether taxes should go up to pay for it. First up this week could be a House bill potentially authorizing Pennsylvania's largest expansion of gambling since it legalized casinos in 2004. One element would allow bars, truck stops and fraternal clubs to host casino-style games on video terminals. Supporters see it as a revenue source to limit the size of a tax increase being sought by Democratic Gov. Tom Wolf. He wants to close a deficit and boost aid to financially strapped school districts. A cigarette tax increase is also under discussion.
