AAA: Average gas prices are down a few cents from last week’s averages

Scattered areas of minor, heavy traffic congestion reported this morning

<p>Sunshine is expected to stick around the Wyoming Valley through Wednesday, but rain will be possible into the latter part of the week.</p><p>The National Weather Service indicated it was 65 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, and a few clouds were reported.</p><p>Mostly sunny skies are expected today, with a high near 83. Partly cloudy skies will follow into tonight, with a low around 58.</p><p>Wednesday will also bring mostly sunny skies, and a high near 79.</p><p>Mostly cloudy skies are predicted for Wednesday night, along with a 40 percent chance of showers. Less than a tenth of an inch of rainfall is expected, and the low will be around 58.</p><p>Showers are likely Thursday, along with possible thunderstorms before 2 p.m. A 70 percent chance of rain is predicted, but no rainfall amounts have been predicted. The high will be near 78.</p><p>Showers and thunderstorms are likely before 8 p.m. Thursday night, followed by a chance of showers into the overnight hours.
